This should be a fixture on your cheeseboard.
A sweet jerk spiced chutney, cooked long and slow, it has dried fruit, onions, carrot, apples, molasses sugar, malt vinegar, green chillies, a couple of scotch bonnets and a good dose of jerk seasoning plus nutmeg, cinnamon and mixed spice. Theres a hint of mince pie in this, too. Mild to medium heat.
Great on cheese on toast, on the side of a ploughman's or with a pork pie.
